Engine 701 was purchased new in 1967. Since then it has been totally refurbed and retitled to keep the tradition of Mack Fire Apparatus alive within the Alert Fire Company. Engine 701 works at a smoke condition on 4 South Second St. in the borough, a three story tennament building.
